Pair of silkscreen prints after the original gouaches by the artist Rev. Jonathan Fisher (1768-1847), titled "Hollis, Harvard and Massachusetts Hall" and "Massachusetts Hall in the University of Cambridge, New England." Produced by Pippin Press in the 1940s in collaboration with the Boston Athanaeum and Harvard Library in an edition of 500. Ivory mat and simple ebonized frame. Label en verso: "Framed at Goodspeed's Book Shop Inc. 18 Beacon Street, Boston." 10-1/2" x 13-1/2" sight, 17-3/4" x 22" framed. Provenance: the estate of General Hanford MacNider, Mason City, Iowa. Condition: Excellent condition. Not examined out of frame.
