Victorian silverplated soup tureen and ladle, plus 5 pieces sterling flatware. Oval tureen with figural ram's head handles and four carytid feet in the form of stag heads and hooves. Lid features a double animal head and hoof finial. The lid and body are also engraved with fern and floral decorations. Marked on underside Meriden S. Company 1869 3. 10"H x 15" W x 10"D. Together with one William Rogers silverplated soup ladle, 11"L, and five sterling silver spoons including a Gorham Cambridge pattern sugar shell, a Baker Manchester sugar shell, a Paye and Baker cream ladle (monogrammed), a Lunt pierced nut spoon, and a souvenir spoon depicting the Midnight Ride of Paul Revere. Total weighable silver: 2.725 oz troy. Condition: Tureen has a few small dents and scratches overall very good condition. Flatware excellent with no monograms except for cream ladle.
