Early 20th century Chinese Mah Jong set, handcrafted ivory and bamboo tiles, wind discs and counters with hand etched and polychomed designs. Pieces are housed in a mahogany box with brass mounts and low relief carved design on sides, having five drawers, each with ivory pulls. Drop down front is marked inside: "Made in China" with patent date of 1923. Also included is the original instruction book with instructions in English and copyright date of 1923. Box measures 7"H x 7-3/4"W x 8"D. Also included are wooden tile racks.
