Sterling silver tea tray or platter, Black, Starr and Frost of New York, oblong with deeply cast Rococo style scroll and foliate border and side handles, plain central section with script monogram MPL. Marked on back Sterling 805 24 in. / Black, Starr & Frost. 30" x 18-1/2" (including handles). Circa 1915. 134.7 oz troy. Provenance: originally owned by Minnie Peters Wright Lee of Memphis, wife of Bayliss Lee of the Lee Steamboat family. Condition: A few scattered tiny dents and some surface scratching, overall very good condition.
