Sterling silver footed cake basket with pierced swing handle over a cartouche form body with Rococo style scrolled edges and pierced decorative edges, and a diaper and scroll engraved center with blank monogram cartouche. Raised on four scrolled feet. Marked Galt & Bro. Sterling with company's hallmark on base (Washington, DC, circa 1892). 10"H x 12-1/2" W x 11"D. 35.32 oz troy. Condition: Overall very good condition with a couple of small light dents and small areas of stubborn tarnish.
