After Rembrandt Van Rijn (Dutch, 1608-1669) seven (7) late 19th century heliogravure impressions attributed to Amand Durand (French, 1831-1905), on laid paper (some prints with watermarks). The prints reproduce Rembrandt etchings of landscape and allegorical scenes including Clump of Trees with a Vista, The Omval Windmill, Six's Bridge, Cottage Beside a Canal, The Goldweigher's Field, The Phoenix or the Statue Overthrown, and The Ship of Fortune. Four prints signed "Rembrandt" in the plate with original creation dates circa 1631-1652. Contemporary museum quality frames included. Prints approx. 4 5/8" H x 7 3/8" W to 4 7/8" H x 12 3/4" W. Frames range in size from 9 3/4" H x 13 1/2" W x 3/4" D to 11 7/8" H x 15 3/8" W x 1 3/4" D. Alternate spelling Armand Duran. CONDITION: Overall good condition. All except Clump of Trees trimmed to plate lines. Six's Bridge, Cottage, and Ship of Fortune hinge mounted to mattes. Evidence of prior hinge mounting to Clump of Trees.
