Grouping of seven (7) English Staffordshire spatterware ceramic items including one (1) blue rimmed cup and saucer, one (1) pink rimmed cup and saucer, two (2) pink rimmed saucers and one (1) blue cream pitcher, all with peafowl decoration. Together with one (1) spongeware decorated plate in colors of green, purple, yellow and pink with central foliate design. Four (4) pieces of spatterware with impressed numbers or letters to bases. Ranging in size from 2 1/2" H x 3 3/4" dia. to 9 1/2" dia. All pieces 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Illinois Collection.
CONDITION: Plate with light staining but otherwise overall very good condition. Cream pitcher overall very good condition. Blue teacup with saucer overall very good condition. Pink teacup with saucer overall good condition, cup with a couple of shallow chips. One pink saucer with one very tiny fleabite to rim, the other with 3 chips to rim and hairline.
