Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Ensi rug, wool on wool, light brick red field throughout, the center with Kepse gul designs within three primary borders and serrated diamond borders to each end. Woven in brick red, blue, and cream colors. 6ft 4in x 4ft 11in. Circa 1870's.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, with moderate pile wear noted to the center, and minor losses to fringed ends.
