830 Silver German hinged cigarette case or box with German hallmarks for Bruckmann and Sohne. The cover is monogrammed "A H" (possibly Adolph Hitler) in upper left corner. Weight of box: 7.84 troy oz. 5/8" H x 5" W x 3-1/2" D. Circa 1930. Provenance: According to oral history, during World War II the consignor's grandfather, William T. The monogram is very similar to known monograms Bruckmann & Sohne engraved on silver made for Hitler. Condition: Surface scratches.
