After J. Trumbull, "The Declaration of Independence/ July 4, 1776". Colored steel engraving by L. Ormsby. Figural identification key printed in the margin. Later giltwood and painted frame with applied stars. Not examined out of frame. 22" x 29" sight. 19th century with possibly later coloring. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Some toning, overall excellent condition.
