East Tennessee walnut inlaid chest of drawers, two over four graduated dovetailed drawers, each drawer with line inlay and kite escutcheon, shaped serpentine skirt with partial fan inlay remaining, shaped sides, plain French style feet. Yellow pine secondary. 46-3/4" H x 40-3/4" W x 18" D. Circa 1820. Provenance: Gatlinburg, TN collection. Condition: Replaced pulls, several replaced escutcheons, patches to drawer fronts near escutcheons, losses and wear to drawer dividers, several drawer sides have been built up, most of the central fan inlay to skirt missing, old repair to lower left foot facing.
