Civil War 1/6 tintype of a seated Mississippi Confederate soldier, attired in his Confederate uniform with the Mississippi "Star" belt buckle visible. Housed in a tooled leather case. 3" H x 2 1/2" W. Provenance: Private Mississippi Collection. Condition: Some overall spotting and oxidation/darkening to right side of image. Some tarnish to metal frame surrounding tintype. Wear to case with some fraying to binding of spine.
