Group of 5 Rose Mandarin/Rose Medallion Garniture Vases, all decorated with reserves depicting flowers in the famille rose palette and scenes of various Chinese figures. 1st vase: Vase with scalloped rim, bulbous midsection and applied gilded Chih Lung dragons, 8 7/8"H, couple of minute flakes or glaze pops to body, light wear to gilding. 2nd and 3rd item: a near pair of vases with identical scenes, 10"H, one has 3" hairline to midsection, both with some wear to gilding. 4th and 5th items: Near pair of baluster form vases, identical scenes, 9 3/4". All likely Guangxu period, circa 1880. Provenance: Collection of James and Marlin Phythyon (Sanders), Nashville, Tennessee.
