Four Chinese decorative items, foo dogs, and snuff bottles. 1st & 2nd items: Pair of Chinese gilt silver filigree and enameled foo dogs or guardian lions, male with one foot upon a ball, the female with foot on a baby foo dog. Male lion marked “Silver” on the base of one paw. Both XRF test sterling. 2 1/2″ H x 4″ D x 1 1/2″ W. Early 20th century. 3rd & 4th items: Two Peking glass snuff bottles including one with blue carved cameo decoration depicting frogs and lily pads and another with red carved cameo decoration depicting flying cranes and a pine tree, maker’s seal to lower body. Both are fitted with metal stoppers. 3″ total H. Late 19th/early century.
CONDITION: Female foo dog with losses to one enameled circle on the head, otherwise overall good condition. Remaining items very good condition.
