Chinese Qing dynasty men's blue silk robe with undergarments. Lot includes blue silk brocade robe woven with all over auspicious symbols decoration and gilt buttons, white silk underjacket, cotton/linen trousers, silk and cotton embroidered pouch with tie and a square of muslin/linen with cotton tie. Robe measures 52" L. Late 19th/early 20th century. Provenance: Collection of Milligan College, Tennessee. The Asian Cultural Exchange Foundation, Inc. in Washington D.C. presented these items to Milligan College in May of 1970. Condition: Some slight staining to neckline and sleeves of robe.
