Asian, possibly Tibetan gilt bronze sculpture of the Buddhist prosperity deity Jambala, depicted seated on a lotus pedestal, holding a mongoose in his left hand and jewel in his right hand. A red lacquered ribbon adorns his black lacquered hair. 4 1/4"H x 3 1/2"W. Chinese/Tibetan, 18th century. Provenance: the estate of Mrs. Adna Godfrey Wilde, Jr. (Sara Joan Wilde), Colorado Springs, CO. Condition: Overall very good condition with expected overall general wear.
