Five (5) carved Chinese snuff bottles, including one (1) lapis bottle with carved crane and landscape decoration, one (1) large square form celadon-colored hardstone bottle with incised figural and architecture and figural decoration topped with hardstone stopper, one (1) agate flat bottle form with dragon mask handles topped with brass mounted coral stopper, one (1) fruit form peach-shaped smoky quartz bottle with naturalistic silver stopper, and one (1) rock quartz clear bottle with figural mask handles and silver mounted coral stopper. Ranging in size from 2 3/4" H x 1 1/4" W x 3/4" D to 3 1/4" H x 2 1/2" W x 1 1/4" D. All items late 19th/Mid 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 2nd item: Some slight chipping and losses to rim and base. 3rd item: Slight chip to rim and light wear to base, expected patination and wear to stopper. 5th item: Crack to top, chip loss to center, scratch to exterior. All other items in overall good condition.
