Ohio Valley cupboard press of two piece construction, highly figured cherry primary, poplar secondary. Cove molded cornice over two flush hung paneled doors, simple quarter round molding below doors, interior with three fixed shelves. Lower section with visible dovetails showing sides attached to top, one long dovetailed drawer over two paneled doors over tapering bracket feet with side returns having lobed cutouts, interior with one fixed shelf. 86"H x 17 5/8"W x 17 3/4"D. 2nd quarter of the 19th century. Ohio or Kentucky. Provenance – Lexington, Kentucky area collection. Condition: Refinished, overall very good condition with minimal abrasions to case.
