Greene County, Tennessee walnut twelve pane corner cupboard. Simple broken arch shaped cornice over two glazed doors with 12 panes, center dovetailed drawer with a center divider, over two paneled doors, supported on turned and tapered feet. Appears to retain the original knobs. Yellow pine and poplar secondary. 81 3/4"H x 42 1/4"W x 24"D. Circa 1835. Provenance: Betty Irene Yates estate, Greeneville, TN. Condition: Refinished, drawer sides slightly built up, appears to retain some of the original glue blocks on the underside of the drawer, one pane with crack, minor putty fill on interior yellow pine shelves, old tin patch on backboard.
