58 pieces sterling silver flatware, most in the Puritan pattern by Frank M. Whiting (introduced 1905). Includes 12 dinner knives (9 1/4 in. L), 12 luncheon or dessert forks (6 5/8 in. L), 12 salad/dessert/fish forks (6 in. L), 4 teaspoons (6 in. L), 2 coffee spoons (5 1/2 in. L), 2 youth knives, 1 youth fork, 1 three-pronged beef fork, and 6 gumbo soup spoons, plus 1 round bowl cream soup spoon, all in the Whiting Puritan pattern, together with 5 gumbo soup spoons by Watson in the very similar Mt. Vernon pattern (introduced 1907). Various monograms. Combined weighable sterling: 57.88 oz troy.

The estate of Josephine Ralston Binns (Mrs. Douglas Binns), Nashville/Fayetteville TN.
CONDITION:
Some oxidation to knife blades and small dents/wear to knife handles. Otherwise very good condition. About half of the pieces have various monograms and differing Whiting marks.
