Pair of Classical highly figured mahogany veneered footstools, signed "K Hay, York". Rectangular with black poly/silk upholstered foot rests, accented with brass tacks at edge, molded exposed wood skirts on demilune feet.. H 6" x W 14" x D 10". Mid 19th century. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Survives in very good condition. minor chips and in veneer. Two feet on one stool are early 20th century replacments.
