3 East Tennessee split oak buttocks baskets. 1st item: Large rib carrying basket having fixed handle attached with nails to the rim. 13 1/4" H x 12" D. 2nd item: Medium rib woven split oak basket with wide handle. 11" H x 12" W x 10 1/4" D. 3rd item: Small kidney form basket having traces of old blue paint. 8 3/4" H x 10" W x 8" D. All Late 19th/early 20th century. Condition: 1st item: Red paint residue on interior weave and a couple of broken weavers. Worn patina on exterior, wear on bottom with minor damage. 2nd item: Interior has surface grime, wear on basket bottom and some weave damage. 3rd item: Rim intact, loose weave around rib.
