Mourning miniature executed in hair and watercolor on ivory, depicting a classical style scene of an obelisk marked OBH, with a weeping willow tree above and a setting sun in the background. Decorative stamped gold foil surround. 2" H x 2 1/2" W. American or English, 1st quarter 19th century. Condition: Some oxidation to edges of foil, overall very good condition.
