A fisherman holds a rod and sits beneath the branches of a tree, with the blue water of Lake Matsubara before him. Published by Shozaburo Watanabe with postwar approximately 6mm publisher’s seal, lower right. With Hasui’s signature and seal in image, lower right. Unframed. Sheet: 10 1/2 in. H x 15 1/2 in. W.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, an evenly inked impression with vibrant colors. Pinpoint hole to upper right margin is possibly inherent.
