Six (6) European and Asian porcelain and enamel items. 1st item: European School painted porcelain scene depicting a female nude partially draped in a flowing white cloth and playing with her long black hair with a classically rendered landscape in the background. Housed in a giltwood frame. The Rosenbach Company printed label, en verso of frame. Sight: 3 1/4" H x 2" W. Framed: 4 1/8" H x 2 7/8" W. Late 19th century. 2nd-3rd items: Two (2) cloisonne containers with removable lids, one (1) having floral designs on a white ground with blue patterned lower border and one (1) having a green dragon design on a light blue ground with a wave patterned lower border. Both approximately 3 1/8" H x 3" dia. Asian, 20th century. 4th-6th items: Three (3) enamel vases, one (1) having a floral design on a red to white gradient ground, marked with Asian characters to underside; one (1) having a purple dragon design on a white to yellow gradient ground, marked with Asian characters to underside; and one (1) Satsuma butterfly vase with two vignettes depicting children. Ranging in size from 3 1/4" H x 2 1/4" dia. to 6" H x 2 5/8" dia. Asian, earlier 20th century.
PROVENANCE: the Estate of Emilee Barnes Frincke, Knoxville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall good condition with minor wear to glaze and surface grime. Frame having wear to gilt. 2nd-3rd items: Overall very good condition with slight scattered surface wear and tape residue to base of 2nd item. 4th-6th items: Overall very good condition very minor scattered wear to enamel.
