Three (3) Italian decorative items. 1st item: European ecclesiastical leaded and stained glass circular form window depicting the Madonna and Child in an interior scene in colors of clear, yellow, blue, green, amber, and red. Housed in a wrought iron frame with a foliate lead border and fleur de lis decoration. Sight: 11" dia. Framed: 23 1/4" H x 16" W. 2nd-3rd Items: Pair of Continental hardwood wall ornaments with carved fig, pomegranate, and leaf decoration, likely originally part of a larger furniture object. 39" L & 39 1/2" L, both 3 1/2" W. Both items likely Italian, late 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Collection of Griff and Dallas Adams, Johnson City, Tennessee. Property descending from the collection of TN Supreme Court Justice Thaddeus Cox and Pearl Cox, originally housed in "The Oaks", Johnson City, TN.
CONDITION: 1st item: Condition expected with age. Three minor breaks to glass panes along Mary's arm and in the upper border margin. Many joints along the panes have been re-soldered. Frame with heavy oxidation and paint loss expected with age. One piece of the frame, which holds the window in place has been and re-glued. 2nd-3rd items: Both with scattered wear, a couple of repairs to leaves and old losses to several leaves. Bottom edge of one with old breakage/losses.
