Three (3) caneware sculptural tureens or game dishes with underplates, including one (1) Majolica-style egg basket form with naturalistic rim having underplate with intertwining vine, stamped WS&S 85 to underside; one (1) woven basket form with hatching chicks to lid and underplate with woven sheaves of wheat, stamped CS 6 to underside; and one (1) cabbage or lettuce form with bunnies emerging from the leaves having leaf form underplate, stamped FB 10 to underside. Ranging in size from 6" H x 9" dia. to 6 3/8" H x 8 3/4" dia. Continental, mid-19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items with minute wear to glaze, primarily to interiors. Bunnies tureen with minor loss to underplate measuring 1/4" x 1/4".
