Miniature Virginia blanket box, walnut primary, poplar secondary. Comprised of a molded top over a dovetailed case and small turned feet. 17 1/4" H x 24 3/4" W x 13 1/2" D. Originally purchased in the Love's Mill Section of Washington County, Virginia. Circa 1830-1840. CONDITION: Stains to top. Old replaced section of top adjacent to hinges, runs the width of the top.
