Gaskell's Novels, Vol. I-V, VII, by Mrs. Elizabeth Gaskell, 1873-1874. Published by Smith, Elder, and Company, London. Octavos, 2,962 total marble edged pages with frontispieces and illustrations, three-quarter blue leather with blue pebbled leather sides, gilt lettering to spines, five raised hubs to each spine. Approximately 7 1/2" H x 5 3/8" W x 1 5/8" D. Provenance: the collection of Frank Ingraham, Tap Root Farm, Franklin, Tennessee. CONDITION: Overall good condition with wear, foxing spots, toning, areas of dampstaining/acid burn, etc. to be expected from age and manner of use. Some sections of pages separating from binding. Illustrations are collated. Does not include Vol. VI.
