Chippendale walnut drop leaf table with Marborough legs. Opposing swing legs reveal dovetailed corners. Secondary wood pine. 48" x 16 1/4" x 28 1/2" closed, 48" x 46 1/2" x 28 1/2" open. American, possibly Southern. Circa 1800. Provenance: Estate of Elsie Weed, Kingsport, TN. Condition: One lower drop leaf with an older replaced section of leaf, slender patches to rule joints, several glue blocks missing to underside, 19th century castors. Hinges appear original.
