Eight (8) New and Old World items, including Colima culture. 1st item: Colima culture grey ware with red slip female effigy figurine with elongated head, nose plug, ear holes, collar necklace, and bowlegs. 6 1/2" H x 3 3/4" W x 1 1/8" D. 2nd item: Buff ware standing female effigy figurine with long hair, earrings, arms folded across chest, loin cloth, and emphasized thighs. 6 1/4" H x 2 1/2" W x 1 1/8" D. 3rd item: Carved stone seated male figure with long folded arms. 3 7/8" H x 7/8" W x 1 3/8" D. 4th item: Taxco, Mexico carved dark grey stone pestle with animal effigy. 5 7/8" H x 1 7/8" dia. 5th-8th items: Four (4) Persian buff ware oil lamps, one mounted on a wood base. Ranging in size from 1 1/2" H x 2 1/2" W x 3 1/8" D to 1 1/4" H x 2 1/8" W x 4" D. Provenance: Estate of Celia (Cece) Webb, Nashville, TN, purchased in the 1960s and 1970s. ( 1st-3rd items purchased from the Parthenon, Nashville, Tennessee in the 1970's. At least one lamp was purchased from Aladdin House Ltd, New York, in 1966). CONDITION: Overall good condition with wear, areas of loss, to be expected from age. 2nd item: Old break repair at waist.
