Six (6) Herend hand-painted porcelain African and mythological animal figurines in rust red and white fishnet pattern with gilt highlights throughout, including one (1) gorilla, one (1) rhinoceros, one (1) trumpeting elephant, two (2) monkeys, and one (1) unicorn. All items having blue Herend stamp mark and numbers to underside. Ranging in size from 2 3/4" H x 1 1/8" W x 2 3/8" D to 4 3/4" H x 2 1/4" W x 4 7/8" D. All items 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The estate of McAlister W. Anderson, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Unicorn with repaired breaks to horn, left front leg, and tip of tail with corresponding glue residue and retouching. All other items in overall very good condition.
