Federal banjo clock with painted dial, brass bezel, gilt turned finial, eglomise throat and base tablet, the throat decorated with a Federal eagle and American flag over a cannon with a crown, basket, and other motifs above. Brass side arms. The base tablet depicting a capital building with log buildings adjacent. Dial is marked but illegible. Pencil inscription on reverse of base tablet, "Repaired 1868".
