Substantial Continental Gothic wrought iron 12- light chandelier in cage form, with square tube and spiral rod design; vine-wrapped upper cage descends into curving wrought iron floriated geometric shapes topped by spires; spiral supports enclose the center interior lights; the lower section echoes the top with acanthus leaf candle cups complementing the vines and curving design, terminating in an acanthus leaf cup. Six standard base lights around the exterior, and six candelabra base lights in the interior. Recently rewired, the chandelier was operational at time of removal. 61" H x 29 1/2" dia. Early 20th C.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Very good overall condition, some scattered minor oxidation, rewired, operational at time of removal.
