Large pair of two (2) Dresden porcelain urns produced by the factory of Richard Klemm (German, 1869-1949), each with bird finial to lid, the bodies encrusted with figural birds and flowering branches, the bases with diapered rims mounted upon a foliate, scroll-footed base. Maker's mark to undersides. 22 1/2" H x approx. 10 1/2" dia. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Minor scattered wear to gilt. Minute scattered losses to floral decoration primarily to one lid. Minor scattered repairs to floral decoration.
