Chinese 3-panel hardwood table screen with three inset Famille Rose porcelain plaques with enameled decoration; the left plaque depicting a deer beneath a pine tree; the center plaque depicting a young beauty with a scholar or Shouxing, the God of Longevity, having inscription and seal upper left; and the right plaque depicting a crane resting in a pine tree, all resting on straight feet with pierced skirt. Screen (overall): 29 3/4" H x 36" W. Small plaques: 15" H x 3 7/8" W. Large plaque: 15" H x 9 3/8" W. Late 19th/Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Chattanooga, TN collection.
CONDITION: Both screen and plaques overall very good condition with light wear.
