Nine (9) Native American baskets, mostly Southwestern, including Navajo wedding baskets, Papago baskets. 1st-3rd items: Three (3) Navajo wedding baskets, sumac with polychrome black and red bands or triangular patterns and braided rims. Ranging in size from 11 1/8" to 15 1/5" dia. 4th-7th items: Four (4) Papago or Tohono O'odham coiled baskets, willow or yucca with devil's claw step pattern or linear key designs. Smallest basket with handwritten sticker reading "Papago Basket Luella Hearne" to interior. Ranging in size from 2 1/2" H x 4 1/2" dia. to 4" H x 7 1/2" dia. 8th-9th items: Likely Navajo bowl form basket (11 1/2" dia.) and Mohawk lidded basket (3 1/4" dia.). Includes retail paper labels indicating that the baskets were purchased in around Arizona and New Mexico, circa 1980/1990. CONDITION: 1st-3rd items: Overall good condition. Fading to designs on smaller basket. 4th-7th items: One basket with surface grime, areas of loss, largest 1 1/8", to rim, otherwise overall good condition.
