Queen Anne mahogany tea table consisting of a plain rectangular top with a plain, thin molding, bombe skirt with ogee molding around the lower edge, and cabriole legs terminating into pad feet. 26 1/4″ H x 19″ W x 27 1/2″ D. Likely English, 18th century.
PROVENANCE: Estate of Judge John Nixon, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Old, possibly original surface with minor wear and abrasions. Splice repairs to tops of two legs. A couple of old chips to the bombe skirt corners. Top with old butterfly braces to the underside (one now missing) and several replaced glue blocks. Legs retain the original pins.
