Late 19th century carved wood and painted child's rocking horse mounted on a red painted wooden stand. Carved black and white painted body, carved inset red painted saddle, tack eyes, horse hair mane and tail, red leather saddle applied over the painted saddle with remnants of a black faux leather bridle. Attached by iron mounts onto a red painted wooden stand. Center stand support with stenciled yellow letters, "Patented A. M. & Son Oct 14 1878 10". 25 1/4" H x 30 1/2" L x 10" W. Late 19th century.
