Irish Georgian style porter’s chair with arched, hooded back frame curving downward to padded scrolled arms. Seat fitted is with a loose seat cushion, and raised on hook-curved walnut legs ending in drake front feet, joined by a serpentine stretcher. Upholstered in cream and gold shaded damask. 65" H x 37" W x 35" D. Late 19th/early 20th century.

PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.

CONDITION: Overall very good condition, the legs with slight wear.
