Civil War period pigskin leather belt associated with a 20th century "CS" waist belt plate variant resembling a standard issue Confederate infantry plate. Belt length approximately 27 1/2". Plate approximately 47.63 mm x 73.03 mm (1 7/8" x 2 7/8"). Includes three additional photos of belt and plate. Provenance: Ex-Steve Mullinax collection. Estate of Jim Maconkey, Landrum, SC.
