Howard Finster (American, 1916-2001) outsider art enamel painted Trumpeting Angel, dated "July 13, 1988". Personally inscribed en verso "Howard Finster to Ray" with additional drawing of bird and "8000.42 works since 1976". 10 4/8" H x 49 5/8" W. Condition: Repaired break to tip of angel robe with some wood loss. Loss and cracking to another tip of the robe. Overall general wear with some slight wear to edges.
