Five (5) American pewter teapots and coffee pots by Northern makers, all with c-scroll handles, including one (1) teapot stamped for Thomas S. Derby (working Middletown, CT, 1812-52); one (1) teapot stamped for Roswell Gleason (Dorchester, MA, 1799-1887); one (1) teapot stamped for H.B. Ward (working Wallingford, CT, ca. 1840); one (1) teapot stamped for Rufus Dunham (Westbrook, ME, ca. 1837-63); and one (1) coffee pot stamped "No 35". Ranging in size from 7" H x 9 1/8" W to 10 1/4" H x 10 1/2" W.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Patricia Kiegel, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition with general wear, scratches, dents, to be expected from age and manner of use. Larget teapot with areas of loss, largest 1/4", to handle, possibly in the making.
