Pair of two (2) large Chinese Famille Rose ginger jars or lidded festival jars with "Hundred Boys" decoration, the domed lids having disk finials and decorated with scenes of boys in dragon boat and on horseback; the bodies decorated with temple and festival scenes. 15 1/2" H x approx. 9 3/4" dia. 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Pia Stratton, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both with minute scattered surface wear. One lid with previous repair to finial with corresponding glaze loss and hairline measuring 1" L; also with repair to chip on underside of lid measuring 1" x 1 7/8".
