Antique Caucasian Kazak area rug, wool on wool. The center with alternating geometric medallions on a brick red ground and signed on one end, within three primary borders. Woven in red, blue, ivory, brown, and gold colors. 5 ft x 7 ft 8 in. Circa 1910s.
PROVENANCE: The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with even pile wear, some scattered light staining.
