Miniature Classical chest of drawers, possibly a jewelry chest, attributed to New England, cherry, mahogany and bird's eye maple primary, white pine secondary. Hinged mahogany lid with maple crossbanding lifts to reveal a rectangular well, above four dovetailed drawers with bird's eye maple fronts and gilt brass lion mask pulls, flanked by fully turned columns, double recessed and beaded side panels and ball feet. 19" H x 15" W x 8 1/2" D. Circa 1830. Purchased from Polk Place Antiques, Nashville, TN.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Raymond White, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light general wear, one piece of side bead missing.
