Large Japanese ginbari cloisonne vase, impressed mark for Kumeno Teitano (1865 – 1939). Ruby red to coral graduated ground with undulating bright green three toed dragon having blue eyes. Tag adhered to base reads " Made by Kumeno, Nagoya,Japan. Awarded 1st Prize Japanese National Exposition held at Osaka, 1903". Condition – Two areas of loss to enamel. 20 3/8" H. Meiji Period.
