French Empire period carved giltwood tripod stand with mottled green marble circular top framed by a band of guilloche molding, ribbed foliate drop with finial, three scrolled feet joined by carved giltwood laurel swags. 16″ H x 14 1/4″ top diameter x 21″ overall diameter. French, second quarter of the 19th century. Provenance: Private Knoxville, TN collection.. CONDITION: Some loss to gilding and chips to marble.
