Three East TN split oak buttocks baskets, two of the baskets appear to be made by the same hand and have nail heads at the mid-section of the base and at the terminus of the handle. 9-1/2″ H x 13″ W x 11-1/4″ D, 11-1/2″ H x 14-1/4″ W x 11-1/2″ D, 10″ H x 12″ W x 11-3/4″ D. Early 20th century, East TN. Provenance: Betty Irene Yates estate, Greeneville, TN. Condition: All in good condition. Smaller of the two baskets with nail heads has small wood splits at end of each handle.
