An assembled grouping of six (6) German porcelain figurines. 1st-2nd items: Pair (2) of bronze mounted Meissen porcelain figures depicting cherubs atop chickens, each inset into a bronze rocaille style base, partial blue Meissen crossed swords mark visible to lower edge of figure in tricorn hat. Both 5 1/2" H. 3rd item: A large KPM blanc de chine porcelain figure depicting a nude female resting upon a round wave base with two birds holding an apple in her left hand while a cherub sleeps at her feet, blue KPM scepter mark to the base. 9 3/4" H. 4th item: Meissen figure depicting a draped young male servant holding a cornucopia under his right arm and resting his left foot upon a seated lion, both on a naturalistic base, the base underside with a blue Meissen crossed swords mark. 6 1/4" H x 4" W. 5th item: Meissen porcelain figure depicting a young shepherd wearing a tricorn hat with a sheep draped across his shoulders leaning against a tree stump on a naturalistic base, the underside with an incised J and 19. 4 3/4" H. 6th item: Ludwigsburg porcelain figural group depicting two cherubs, one holding a flower and the other holding a basket of flowers, resting on a naturalistic Rococo-style base, the underside with the blue Ludwigsburg hallmark. 5 1/2" H x 2 3/4" W. All pieces late 19th or Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st-2nd items: Overall very good condition. 3rd item: Breaks to one bird's wing and losses to cherub's quiver. 4th item: Losses and breaks to fingers of both hands, some wear to polychrome decoration. 5th item: Fleabites to one of the sheeps ears and fleabites to the ruffled sleeves of the shirt. 6th item: Scattered losses to flower petals and tips, otherwise overall good condition.
